The children take you on a world tour of food to celebrate something humans love sharing: food. On the way they throw in a few celebrity titbits. You can find out David Cameron’s favourite recipe; how to cook Sir Alex Ferguson’s scotch broth; make spaghetti bolognese a la Joan Collins and sample Ken Dodd’s Knotty Ash Quick Chicken Casserole. Manchester City supporters can cook up Roberto Mancini’s Crostata. There are fabulous recipes from Africa, Asia and almost every other continent. The recipes come from the children, staff, parents and carers and well wishers of two schools in the greater Manchester area: St. Anne’s Fulshaw in Wilmslow and St. Agnes in Longsight. The great and the good have contributed but the recipe by the school cook might well beat all of them for mouth-watering scrumptiousness.
